What did the buffalo say to his son when he left for college?

What did the buffalo say to his son when he left for college?

Bison!

Love them or hate them, Dad jokes can give you the giggles even when they’re terrible. I’ve seen my sons rolling around the floor helpless with laughter at some cringe worthy joke their Dad has made, while I groan (not so quietly) in the background. Sometimes they’re even the target of the bad jokes and they still think it’s hilarious. And that’s one of the great things about Dads, one of their main roles in life is to teach us to laugh at ourselves, and not take ourselves too seriously.

This Sunday is Father’s Day. Like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, Father’s Day can turn into an expensive commercial spendathon, or you could spend the day rolling round the floor laughing at bad jokes… i know what we'll be choosing!

Here’s some to get you started.

Last night I dreamt I was a muffler…. I woke up exhausted.

I’ve just been diagnosed as colourblind… I know, it certainly has come out of the purple.

What do you call a fake noodle? An impasta.

I used to hate facial hair… then it grew on me.

And one that always gets a groan in our house…

Dad can you put my shoes on? … I don’t think they’ll fit me.

For many people, whose fathers and grandfathers have passed away, Father’s Day is a wonderful way of reflecting and remembering. Whatever you do on Sunday, the main thing Pinnacle Life want for you, is that you create some special memories. We believe that what we do helps make it a little easier to keep those memories alive for the people that you care most about. What better way can there be than telling bad jokes and remembering with a smile?
